“Daddy, I didn’t know you were there.”

From the Billings Gazette, in Billings, Montana, comes this story out of Wyoming. In case you’re not familiar with the area, Billings is VERY close to the Wyoming border. My Favorite Cousin lives in Cheyenne, Wyoming – wonder if she saw this article?

The Honor Flight Network is one of the best ideas to come along in many years. Having seen the World War II Memorial more than once myself – and getting choked up each time I saw one of these gentlemen there to see it – I can tell you it’s quite an experience. Ike’s story is worth reading.

If you have some extra cash you don’t know what to do with, honour a Veteran, and help a new generation see a part of their family history, a part that MAY not have been talked about much at Thanksgiving or Christmas.
