Whose contribution is greater in determining the quality of my day?

Most days, it seems to be mine.

I believe that each day G-d gives me everything I need to have a good day. My choice of attitude determines whether or not I enjoy His gift. As someone said: It’s hard to have a good day wth a bad attitude, and it’s hard to have a bad day with a good attitude. Every day is a good day. Whether or not I see it as such is up to me.

From the book, “There’s More To Quitting Drinking Than Quitting Drinking” by Dr. Paul O.

Yep. Everybody has bad things and good things happen to them throughout the day but how you choose to react to them is completely your decision.

Personally, I’m good with kicking the dog.

    1. I tend to yell at my cats. Yesterday I even cussed at My Queen. I must admit, since I can avoid contact with most of the other humans in the world on most days, my days are pretty easy. Finally. The times when I lose my cool have greater spaces between them. Physical pain tends to get me, though, around 2 in the afternoon.

      I’m workin’ on it.
