Friday Funnies…on SATURDAY!

Yesterday was completely out of kilter for me, nothing was in my routine…so I didn’t get the funny things I’ve seen this week posted. Ah well, it’s not like you’re grading me on this, is it.

From my email this morning, I get an old joke from my brother. You’ll find the link to his blog in my sidebar. Made me laugh, Glenn, thanks!
A passenger in a taxi leaned over to ask the driver a question and tapped him on the shoulder. The driver screamed, lost control of the cab, nearly hit a bus, drove up over the curb, and stopped just inches from a large plate glass window.

For a few moments everything was silent in the cab, and then the still shaking driver said, “I’m sorry but you scared the daylights out of me.”

The frightened passenger apologized to the driver and said he didn’t realize a mere tap on the shoulder could frighten him so much.

The driver replied, “No, no, I’m sorry, it’s entirely my fault. Today is my first day driving a cab. I’ve been driving a hearse for the last 25 years.”

Next, something I got from the Patriot Post this week. I want one. I want one SO bad:

Last, but certainly not least, Mallard Fillmore:

We now return you to your regularly-scheduled Saturday college football, grocery shopping (just finished mine), napping, or housekeeping. Thanks for coming by, see you soon!

Oh yeah, one more quick thing:

Go NAVY!
