Happy Father’s Day

I heard Kaylee made Grandpa a card yesterday, and I know it’ll touch him more than any store-bought card ever could. Some crayons and construction paper, and the love of a little girl…what more could you possibly need…

If your dad is still in your life, let him know you appreciate him. You don’t have to pay Hallmark to do that – a simple phone call, dinner together – Duffy’s going surfing with Kait today after his safety meeting, while Kaylee stays here with me, and then we’re going to grill some stuff.

My dad has been gone nearly 21 years. My father-in-law has been gone 11 years.

Busy day trying to prep for Duffy’s new schedule at work…off to get some good stuff for our little cookout, then the US Open on tv…y’all have a fine day, and thanks for stopping by!
