Look! More pictures from last Saturday!

Ok, that’s it for tonight. I have to work tomorrow, then Kaylee’s spending the night here so Mommy can take Daddy out on the town for his birthday. She is such a gift to this grumpy ol broad!

Enjoy your weekend, and thanks for stopping by!

(And welcome home, SwampWoman!)

  1. What a lovely vacation! We haven’t been to Silver Springs for a *very* long time (the kids were little then). Guess it’s about time to take the grandkids! We had planned on taking the grandboys around to lots of places, but our little pumpkin was not quite old enough to enjoy lengthy car trips. (Of course, next year, she’ll be potty training, and that’s always such fun on car trips, right?) Did Kaylee like to see the fish in the glass bottom boats? Guess it won’t be too long before you have to start making the Disney trek.

And thanks for the welcome back! I missed my blogging friends! I suppose I need to break down and purchase an internet capable device other than the Kindle but (a) I’m broke, and even if I weren’t broke (b) I was carrying my luggage as well as Mom’s. One more piece could have been the straw that broke this old camel’s back!

    1. Kaylee was potty trained for 3 days, then we went to Damascus in a mini van – with a potty chair and a roll of super-absorbent paper towels, plus a few large ziplocs. Used that potty chair like a pro, even rollin’ down the hiway. Then I’d soak up the liquid, put it in a ziploc, and dispose of it at the next stop. She never had an accident.

I’m not doing Disney – the other grandparents like that place. I’ve been there twice, and it’s quite enough.

Kaylee had a ball. Sunday we spent a couple hours before the storms hit at Wild Waters. SUCH fun, but no pics of that one. I’ll put up more pics later tonight, after she and grandpa go to bed.

My new phone – a BASIC phone, according to Verizon – has Twitter and Facebook capabilities – and so does my Kindle keyboard. I can access this blog – and yours – on my phone. But vacations aren’t about ‘social media’ for me…as I’m sure they aren’t for you!

Glad to hear your mom has some help from your brother.
